Prenatal to Age 3

Your baby’s first 1000 days are so important! In fact, 75% of your baby’s brain develops by his or her first birthday. First Start Partnerships for Children & Families offers two programs to help you understand what your baby needs from you, as your child’s first and forever teacher.

1. Early Head Start Home Visiting Program

We can visit your home weekly to give you information about your child’s growth and learning. You can also meet with other families twice a month, with activities for you and your child. Families qualify for this free program based on income and other factors.

For more information about the Early Head Start Home Visiting Program, contact 717-263-8019.

2. Early Head Start Center Program

Children ages 12 to 36 months can attend a classroom designed for them. You will also have a Family Advocate to help you reach your goals for yourself, your child and your family. Families qualify for this free program based on income and other factors. Early Head Start Center Program is currently available in Waynesboro School District only.
