Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant is responsible for coordinating the workflow of the organization’s administrative, governance, and community outreach functions in meeting and exceeding the organization’s Strategic Plan goals and objectives.

This is a full-time, exempt, full-year position with a competitive salary.

Minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, business management, or related field.
  • 5 – 10 years in a leadership role.

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following fundamental duties:

  • Organize, prepare and maintain documentation and flow of information for all governance activities (Board of Directors, Policy Council, and all subcommittees of those governing bodies).
  • Maintain the organization’s annual calendar.
  • Maintain the organization’s community engagement and involvement calendar and corresponding documentation.
  • Serves as Convener and Recorder for the Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and Policy Council meetings, assisting the team in making cross-service area connections focused on high-quality services for children, families, and communities.
  • Create data reports using appropriate administrative and program databases.
  • Assist with budget development and management of program funds in compliance with Head Start procedures.
  • Model and communicate the need for continual learning in a continuous quality improvement organization.
  • Connect leadership staff to agency resources.
  • Assist the President & CEO with special projects, as needed.

Early Head Start Classroom Support Staff

This position acts as a member of the classroom teaching team in the implementation and creation of lesson plans. Supports home visits, parent-teacher conferences, and parent meetings as needed. Participate in observing children and assist in the completion of screenings and assessments. Provide a safe and healthy environment for toddlers and their families.

This is a part-time non-exempt, full-year position with a competitive salary.

Hours per day: 6 hours per week: 30

Minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1-year experience with children and families
Pre-K Counts Lead Teacher

We are looking for a Pre-K Counts Lead Teacher who has a passion for growing hearts and minds of children and families in Franklin County.

When you join our team as a Lead Teacher you will:

  • Implement a high quality early childhood curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
  • Lead, coach and mentor new teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.

This is a full time exempt, 10 month position with competitive salary.

Minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • A Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (ECE credits completed) and a current PA Teaching Certification in PK-4
  • 1 year experience working with preschool age children.

 

Health Coordinator

The Health Coordinator is responsible for applying professional expertise related to comprehensive health services. This position will carry out all health care and screening related services for children enrolled in the Head Start and Early Head Start program in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensures health referrals are being addressed.
  • Creates and maintain collaborations with community agencies and healthcare providers.
  • Trains all staff on how to monitor, consult, and provide daily oversight of health needs and services.

This is a full time exempt, 10 month position.

Minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • A Bachelors degree in Health Related field or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in a supervisory role
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Pennsylvania Nursing License required
Itinerant Teacher

The Itinerant Teacher works collaboratively with the classroom staff in an Early Childhood environment. Responsible for assisting the lead teacher with the classroom child interactions to implement a program of activities that promotes the social, emotional, and physical development of each child enrolled in the group in accordance with early childhood program standards.

This is a full time non-exempt, part year position with competitive salary.

Daily location may vary.

Qualifications for this position are:

  • CDA(Childhood Development Associate certification) or AA degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred.
  • 1 year experience
Assistant Teacher

This position works collaboratively with the classroom staff in an Early Childhood environment. Responsible for assisting the lead teacher with the classroom child interactions to implement a program of activities that promotes the social, emotional, and physical development of each child enrolled in the group in accordance with early childhood program standards.

This is a full time non-exempt, part year position with competitive salary.

Qualifications for this position are:

  • High School Diploma with a CDA(Childhood Development Associate certification); AA degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Pay: $13.31 – $15.00 per hour
